His desire to pro&shy;pa&shy;gate his social theo&shy;ries led to an inte&shy;rest in prin&shy;ting and the deve&shy;lop&shy;ment of a cylan&shy;der press which, however, waas not accep&shy;ted by printers until rein&shy;ven&shy;ted by another indi&shy;vidu&shy;al a gene&shy;ra&shy;tion later.
